 Finding Calvin Pt. IV – 7 - A Master Unknown - Desservir

Seeing the chalice glisten
and the enlighted eyes infused
He approached the remaining sitted
like a virginous coy ingenue

Being aptly now confitted
it seemed up to Calvin now to choose
As he hoped for cherry lifted
For cheese and fermented brew# debut

As Calvin stood admitted
Within the black walnuted panoptic hue
The green ensconced far-off emitted
 caliginously betwixt consumed

He locked eyes with the ocupitted
known technically as the drupe
As he saw the inner composition
A nutmeat and is said a fruit

[...]

Calvin: may I?

[...]

Though Calvin remained suspicious
despite the delicacy he would choose
It lingered while he sipped it
as if refusing to move on through

Grabbing the Munster on the linen
Though whole it was a bit askew
Pungent, tender and pre-slitted
At least a couple dozen cued

The tunic'd man intently listened
to the crackling hearthy cue
As Calvin paid it due visage
It seemed sheep too would be consumed

Calvin pondered the silent witness
Amid the cavernous ill-furnished room
He would take what’s in his vision
As long as it tasted and enlightened moods

Sitting like a grave inscription
Atop Nero's colonnaded view
Calvin would need adept conviction
Tethered in telepathic news

The tunic'd man's eyes seemed ill-transfixed*
And Calvin's too now seemed ill--subdued*
As Calvin was now imbidded
And now becoming ill-attuned

With Calvin's tentative sipping
He's contemplating the now shared view
The tunic'd man seemed intently hinting
At the shared language they'd both come to

He wouldn’t mind the portion’s lifting
He liked the dairy and fermented brew
For as they say in Paris
Faire d’une pierre deux coups

Captured by a fragrance drifting
An earthy, gamey and savory retinue
It filled Calvin with an effervescing
Or at least correlative the culprit's route

The laughing would become obsolesceing
As a slice of cheese became double a few
And the vintage from the known vestige
Belied what he supposedly really knew*

For the missing quarter became a crescent *
It seemed the Munster anabolically grew
Contrary to the empirically guessing
Eaten but yet still growing anew

And the roasting sheep now ill-scented
Beyond the pleasant savory nutty perfume
As the foul odor was bitter and acrid
With half the sheep disappeared from view

Calvin was now feeeling# heavy-headed
Perhaps led poisoning has Calvin subsumed
Like the many before who spoke Latin
Succumbing to psychosis and irritable mood

Abandoning the witchy levened
Evacuating the locus he attuned
Not knowing if it could be abetted
And what exactly should be presumed

In the direction he was heading
He resituated for another room
"Car le le mieux est l'ennemi du bien."
And shadows dynamically move

I think this will serve as one of three parts.  But we will see.

Given the complexity of this entry, here is a little clarification of the scene portrayed:

the view is of a seated tunic'd man in the center of a large dark room surrounded by sconces filled with green flame that creates an outer ring of light around the darkened center where the man sits ( Hence the black walnut hue)...panoptic because that is the view required to see the black walnut resemblance, and also hinting at the intuitive communion taking place within the narrative.  Calvin is leaving the room at the end of the scene after becoming sickened by the sheep's overcooking.

I would like to thank God for giving me the inspiration and the vision for this entry. I honestly had no idea after the last one where this was going to go--but once again it seems to be fairing wel--well, maybe not for Calvin. But we will see.

Mysteries and questions:

The Monk is serving Calvin French cheese
Calvin surrenders unspokenly
Is that the common language telling?
Wir werden sehen

Part II - Donner De La Confiture Aux Cochons

Addley pacing the stoned staircase
Scaling the turn then main landing
Seeing atop the yew-strunged flat base
Pubesceing naivety becoming more deranged *

For standing erect with chalice to face
Staring intently from where they became
Further distraught he ascended apace
For the one once lost once again reclaimed

Ascently enwrapping the yewed domain
To find what was seen again seen just the same *
Another wooded sequence and continued taunting
From the dark statued man mysteriously gemein

Calmly sitting with one knee araised *
On the slit's inward splaying embrace
Peering out the arrowed snakey stoned gaze
As if to allay any À la hâte

Calvin continued making his strides away
The fourth and fifth floors he'd seamlessly pave
Passing the tunic'd man dilating known space
Like will-o'-the-wisps or liminal feys

But on the sixth floor immersed in dark shade
As if all past scenes were just slides projecting
No tunic'd man just hearth's vacuity
And an eerie enveloping becoming too settling

Calvin arose atop the steeped stairway
To a walnuted frame he'd conscientiously sway
Topping concomitted merlonic concaves
Jagged amid crenellations Falle

Part III - La Superposition Essentielle

Two impressments and foreign speech
opponens abductor accompanied
Now awakened from fugued unbeing
With eyes below he imminently reached

Moments' past without memory
Without momentary understanding
Nesting a shadowy belfry
And a hearth's mandalaic opening

Though bone-colored flesh cruciate
The lined axis fades expeditiously
Finding parapet's crenellates
Beyond the gray horizons he surveyed

With mouth arid and head ingrained
He sought a headwater or burn escape
Composition re-taut again
For the trek enwrapping the stoney gaze

Peering the darkness whence he came
He crept in the silence more silently
Through antechamber's hollowed space
Heeding solar unseen initially

With doors open he found it strange
And the raven etchings ebony framed
Spiral patterns awkward asplayed
Resurrecting disturbings unconveyed

With amenities draped in shade
From dark purple aperture filtering
An occlusion openly laid
A three by three box's spined lettering

Ruminating over Marseille
Dark rituals and foreign blood lettings
But mensa's ebony replayed
Evoking dark jamb's mountain mystery *

Beside it a small book would lay
Vellum sheets with dark calfskin covering
Appellated Das Schwarze Ei
Displaying a dark image unsettling

Peering akin a perched osprey
Truth waivering atop the moving seams
Reflects, refracts, reverberates
Revealing the unseen yet seen to be

Possessing images reappraised
On weighed subspace's splitting ebony
Like Pharaoh letting Jews escape
Only to follow them to darker seas

Fleeing Jungian contemplates
To a trinket collection to be seen
Symbols, animals and lost saints
Never to be nor worn collectively

Leaving de-lighted purple shade
Weaving throughout the domained enwrapping
Layerings identically laid
Vast open square yards for two's tailoring

All hearths fostered the lost remained
Embalmed by all-engrossing green-hued flame
But what seen shant be seen regained
Only ivory's bright silver fillings

Submerging a descent unplained
Far below the towering escapade
But no further could he prostrate
Beyond the brownstone door in dark space raised

Gleaming epigraphic branchings
And another image with subtexting
Bold THECEL among lowercase
With steelyard statera hanging a king

I tried to stick to an 8 by 10 syllable count.  I think I succeeded.

This will serve as the 3rd of 4 entries, I think.

There are Easter eggs that you can figure out..  Either way they will be briefly elaborated upon  within the next three entries.

*$* - As an aside, I have several areas that I will revisit when the story is completed to make Calvin more palatable and to intellectualize or at least mask the ignorance within the story. Also, I might leave Mr. Lamington with a singular identity when I revisit the text, though for a symbolic device I like the dual identity.

*$* Future Dialogue refinements:

Part 1 mushroom trip

Part 2 last 2 entries

Part 4 A Layering Bar Scene

(More of a personal reminder--but sharing is caring <3 )
