LinkedIn: Trading Places (Updated 8/7/24)
My Linkedin
profile was removed without any prior warning.
This is the problem with Big Business--one patron or person complains
and they fold without reasonable consideration.
My post, the one that I assumed caused the account deletion, was a
Schindler's List scene of a person not meeting his OKR, and subsequently
escorted out to the courtyard for a failed execution attempt. This post was up for several days, but all of
a sudden they deem it necessary to remove it.
So you're saying that I can't post a business-related, non-violent--though
admittedly dramatic--scene on Linkedin, but MTV can depict slurs, boobies, and
drag shows! I'm confused: Who are the
adults in this society again? In a country
where my nieces can peer male genitalia on the boob tube, but a full-grown man
can't flash his adult Linkedin fam. (not that I would, I'm just saying), it's safe to
say that the roles have been reversed. Move
over Rue Paul, and hello Benjamin Button.
The only point I
was making with my previous post was to emphasize the gravitas of the OKR--albeit in a
completely ridiculous manner. Regardless,
I think I just learned the poignancy of "shock value."
***The link was indeed broken--but I forgot that it linked directly to another LinkedIn user, and not to my user page (SMH). But with the scare I'm going to delete that Schindler's List video--just in case--as I do value my Linkedin accessibility (primarily to post my cool raps and poetry!) And I will leave this post, since it's actually pretty good--though obviously not as grounded in truth as I thought (contemplative emoji face)
*$* - Kicked off Linkedin for informing the community of Alexa's six song skip rule--which severely limits playability of music. Apparently you can't call her the s-word, even though she doesn't have feelings! #WTF
