About the jellied

Anxious, loyal

And excited

Though there were haters

Their claims ill-founded

Informed and pleased

He'd break for coffee

And as he moved 

In contemplation

He thought of winning 

And approbation

But he also knew

The deal could change

For there's not just cake-pies

But also pie-cakes

Yet he had time

To pick carefully

His cake-pie champion

And seize victory

But fate is fickle

And times they change

As he turned the corner 

He soon would see

And the Caker

Sharing a cup of tea

And some waffers

Yet in he went

Though awkwardly

Fearing conversation
